Marksmanship Instruction

Marksmanship Instruction:

We have many techniques and training aids to assist in learning and improving marksmanship from beginner level through advanced.

For example, we connect a Bluetooth device to the accessory rail of your firearm, just like you would any other firearm attachment. Each shot is scored depending on how much you moved away from your target during the trigger pull. This device couples with an app that will develop very finite trigger control by giving you real time feedback and an image showing how you moved the gun prior to, during, and after the trigger break.

Details: The perfect score is 100 (impossible unless locked in a vice). This device transmits data to me enabling us to analyzing an individual shot or the group of shots. The software provides you with a suggestion that will improve your shooting mechanics.

Some sample output reports are shown on the Pistol and Rifle subtabs under this Subject tab.

Works with live fire, dry fire, Airsoft, and CO2.

Another example, we train safely for speed and accuracy under pressure (or compete against friends) with a dueling tree, a target made for two.

Below is a brief video (10:52) with Rob Leatham – World Champion shooter, on some drills with a dueling tree:

There are many options for marksmanship training, and these options also blend in well with defensive pistol shooting and personal protection classes. We can tailor a program to fit you needs. If you need marksmanship training contact me and I will come up with a plan custom made for you !

Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Training

Details: The course teaches basic marksmanship fundamentals, firearm safety using a simulated pistol (SIRT Pistol if you are familiar with them) with a resetting trigger and laser to indicate where the shots hit. No range is needed with this simulator training course. It can be held anywhere; a meeting room in a hotel, business boardroom, or in a church hall. With very little equipment, the Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Training Course teaches the fundamentals of sight alignment, trigger control, grip, and breath control.  Students may attend this course as a basis to decide whether or not they would like to follow-up by taking the full length Basic Pistol Course with live fire, or simply learn to improve their marksmanship skills.

No live firearms are used in this course. This course would be ideal for beginning shooters, and even children. No range is needed with this simulator training course. Computer software records shots and provide instant feedback for students and our instructors, as well as a webcam for recording shots.

A Training Certificate will be available upon completion of this course.

  • Course price: $40.00
  • To register now, make a non-refundable payment to hold seat: $40.00

The new infrared version of the SIRT (shown below) has an infrared shot indicating laser, which is not visible to the naked eye, but can be seen by our infrared cameras that are used with the Simulator. This has the advantage of not allowing the shooter to handicap themselves and “walk” visible lasers on target, forcing the shooter to trust their sight picture and trigger control.

NOTE: This class can be scheduled at any time or place, at your convenience. To sign up, message me via the contact form below, and I’ll set up a class for you to register on the date and time you desire.

In more advanced simulator classes, you can use either a simulator pistol, or your OWN pistol with the simulator.

The simulator is capable of presenting basic shooting, as well as advanced timed drills, including reloading, automatic scoring, and calling multiple targets.
